Managing Your Appointments
Viewing Your Appointments
You can easily keep track of all your upcoming and past appointments.
- Log in to your Barberslot account.
- Navigate to your Dashboard.
- Click on the "My Appointments" link in the navigation menu or dashboard actions.
- The "Upcoming" tab shows appointments that haven't happened yet.
- The "Past" tab shows your appointment history (completed, cancelled, no-shows).
- Each appointment card displays the shop name, date, time, service, and barber.
Rescheduling an Appointment
Need to change the time or date of an upcoming appointment? You can reschedule if it's outside the shop's cancellation/reschedule window.
- Go to your "My Appointments" page and find the upcoming appointment you wish to change.
- If rescheduling is allowed (based on the shop's policy, usually a certain number of hours before the appointment), you will see a "Reschedule" button.
- Click "Reschedule". You will be taken to a page showing the original appointment details.
- Use the calendar and time slot selector on that page to choose a new available date and time with the same barber and for the same service.
- Click "Confirm Reschedule" to finalize the change.
- You'll receive an email confirmation for the rescheduled appointment.
- If the "Reschedule" button is disabled, it means you are past the allowed time frame set by the shop.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you can no longer make your appointment, you can cancel it, provided you are outside the shop's cancellation window.
- Go to your "My Appointments" page and find the upcoming appointment.
- If cancellation is allowed, you will see a "Cancel" button.
- Click "Cancel". A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click "Confirm Cancellation" to proceed.
- The appointment status will be updated to "Cancelled", and the barber will be notified.
- If the "Cancel" button is disabled, you are past the shop's cancellation deadline. Please contact the shop directly if you need to cancel urgently.
